I've produced several productions including multi-camera programs, live sports, interviews, news reports, documentaries, advertisements, public service announcements and more.
I've reported on a wide range of stories from community events to local and global ceremonies. I have also hosted televised programs and live functions.
During my volunteer involvement activities, I have organized and led high calibre projects such as Northumberland Rocks Back, Chazzapalooza, and the Cobourg Media Christmas Special.
Founded an online local news platform and transformed it into a thriving multi-media business offering community programming and video production services. Responsible for coordinating all production, reporting and business aspects while leading teams of 5-20 crew members.
In addition to reporting on local and international news stories, worked with over 50 clients and partners on various projects:
· Ryerson University, Ted Rogers Students’ Society (2021)
Produced the live multi-camera 2021 frosh opening and closing ceremonies.
· Film Access Northumberland (2021)
Developed and produced the Murdoch Mysteries Master Class with Yannick Bisson and Christina Jennings and the Eye2Eye Film Festival promotions.
· The Town of Cobourg (2020)
Produced and directed Remembrance Day programming including Veteran Interviews and the Cobourg Remembrance Day live service special.
· Fern Blodgett Sunde Statue Committee (2020)
Produced and Hosted the Fern Blodgett Sunde Statue Unveiling Live Presentation, commemorating the first female wireless radio operator to serve at sea. Wrote and produced a short documentary on her story.
· Juno Beach Centre Association (2019)
Videotaped and produced Veteran interviews, social media clips, promotional material, and archival footage for the 75thAnniversary of D-Day in France. Worked with organizing officials in Canada and at Juno Beach, France.
· Marie Dressler Foundation (2019)
Produced and edited several video interviews for a display exhibition.
· CityNews Toronto, Freelance (2017-2018)
Filed footage, interviews, and standups for CityNews Toronto for local events in Cobourg and at the Vimy Ridge 100thAnniversary Commemorations in France.
Work in the CBC News Network and CBC Toronto newsrooms to support the editorial programming of the newscasts. Worked as a Program Assistant during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
Led a team of community members and crew to organize an outdoor and live stream benefit concert in support of the Northumberland United Way COVID-19 Relief Fund. The event helped raise over $25,000 for community organizations.
Support the teaching faculty in lectures, tutorial instruction and mark classwork.
Recognized for embodying the values of PEACE (Participation, Empathy, Advocacy, Community, Empowerment) and the achievements without any special resources, status, wealth or position.
Presented by Northumberland Peterborough South MP Kim Rudd for committed volunteerism and community service.
Recognized by the Ontario Community Newspaper Association and TD Canada for creating Cobourg Media and outstanding community service. Awarded by The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
Recognized by RTA faculty for demonstrating an interest and aptitude for live special events production.
